The first 20 km of the route go through an enchanting natural setting where the main view is the magnificent reflection of Mount Civetta in the waters of the artificial lake of Alleghe. After a breathtaking descent of 45 km, you will find yourself in front of the majestic Duran pass with more than 1000 m of elevation gain in just a little more than 13 km. Definitely a challenging climb, but you will be rewarded at the end of 10 km of descent. Once in Dont in Val di Zoldo, you will be able to treat yourself to a tasty and energetic prize in one of the many ice cream parlours in the area, renowned for its homemade ice cream. This calorie intake will help you face the next climb of more than 12 km to the Staulanza pass and then continue to Arabba, alternating between uphill and downhill stretches.
